About Me

Hello!  My name is Sid Kirkland and I am the Principle Broker of Kirkland Properties. I have been a real estate broker for twenty plus years and have a wealth of experience.

I moved to the Coachella Valley back in 2004 after falling in love with the desert and making lots of new friends.  The beauty of the desert is unparalleled along with the long list of social activities and events.  The weather is incredible and I personally enjoy the hot summer months; especially being pool side!  

I went to college in Boulder CO and finished at Cal State University, Northridge with a Major in Finance and Minors in Real Estate and Economics.  I initially worked for a number of years as a Controller and CFO for privately held companies before reconnecting with my passion in real estate.

Being a licensed Broker in two States, California and Hawaii, has broadened my experiences and knowledge.  Although Hawaii is a very different market in many ways, it is also very similar to the desert in that it is has many resort destinations and a winter season filled with snowbirds.  Another commonality are the goals and objectives of my clients.
